Belfast and Causeway Coast

Day 1

Discover Belfast, a vibrant city. A good place to start is the iconic Titanic quarter. Spend time at The Titanic Experience with over nine interactive galleries. Nearby, the TEC Belfast hosts the Game of Thrones Touring Exhibition until September 1st 2019. Take a guided tour of the murals, which contain political references to the Troubles.

Day 2

No trip to Northern Ireland is complete without a drive north along the beautiful Causeway Coastal Route. Along the way stop at charming coastal villages including Ballintoy. Further  on up the coast is the World Famous Giants Causeway, an incredible UNESCO site.

Day 3
Head south from the coast through the Glens or stay overnight at the Dark Hedges Estate. The Dark Hedges which featured in the Game of Thrones Series (season 2) is a familiar site which as an incredible history. Guided tours from the Dark Hedges Experience Centre depart on the hour dailt from 10am, Step Inside to book your tour, buy a gift or art. Paid parking is available at the Hedges Hotel. Allow time to have lunch at the Scullery Bar and Restaurant.

Game of Thrones Itinerary

Northern Ireland is Game of Thrones Territory. The natural beauty of Northern Ireland has been showcased to a global audience, so as a Game of Thrones fan why wouldn’t you want to see where the Stark’s and Lannisters ruled.

Day 1

Beginning in Belfast, visit the TEC Belfast to see the amazing Game of Thrones Touring Exhibition. This is only on until 01 September 2019, don’t miss out.  Day 2

Drive north to the Dark Hedges aka the Kings Road. If you have downloaded the Journey of Doors on your phone, you will know that Door 7 is located here. The doors were carved from 2 storm felled beech trees. Made famous in season 2, the Dark Hedges was where Arya Stark made her escape dressed as a boy. The Dark Hedges Experience provides a 45 minute tour of both the Dark Hedges Estate and Dark Hedges.
